Visitors may sign the Kentucky Organ Donor Registry, which serves as legal consent to donate organs and tissues. The memorial quilt on display will feature local people who became organ donors. A non-profit organization, KODA is the federally designated organ procurement organization that serves most of the state of Kentucky. A representative will be in the front lobby of Central Baptist's Building E, at 1740 Nicholasville Road, Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Those who wish to sign the registry should bring their driver's licenses as identification. ANTI-DEPRESSANTS HELP STROKE PATIENTS Doctors might want to give stroke victims anti-depressants right away instead of waiting until they develop depression, a common complication, new research suggests. Someday, high-risk people like stroke patients might take the drugs before suffering depression -- just as people now take cholesterol drugs to prevent heart attacks, the lead author said.
